  • Type: "Queensland (Le), Mt. Salvator Rosa [Carnarvon] N.P., 30 Oct. 1981, M.E. Ballingall 436 & M.R. Cockburn (BRI AQ349417)."
  • Etymology: "The epithet crassi-nervis, Latin, “thickveined” refers to the unusually bulging central vein of the leaves."
  • Comment: The collection number of the type specimen is printed in error as "436", but the holotype specimen is in fact M.E. Ballingall 435 & M.R. Cockburn (see also AVH).
