"Found in Western Australia as an invasive weed growing over shrubs and small trees. Cultivated at the National Collection of Passiflora UK (holotype Vanderplank NCP 2005/12 (K), isotypes Vanderplank NCP 2006/12, NCP 2007/12 & NCP 2008/12 (K, NCP), New Guinea J. Wells 3797 (K)."
