Etymology:
"The epithet was selected in consultation with Miriwoong Elders and senior speakers of the Mirima Dawang Woorlab-gerring Language and Culture Centre. In the Mirriwoong Language the word Baliboong refers to a swamp habitat, and their word baliboo-ngarnang (sic) literally means 'swamp-dwelling'."
