Etymology:
"Derived from the Greek netron (spindle) and stylis (style) in reference to the spindle-shaped style base persistent on the nutlets of this genus. Thus derived, Netrostylis is feminine (see Turland et al. 2018; Art. 62.2) as is Tetraria, so no alterations of epithet terminations are required for the two species transferred from that genus."
