"This name was given to a plant cultivated in Brisbane Botanic Gardens, described as 'evergreen tree, Mauritius'. Most likely a misspelling of Jubaea spectabilis Kunth, which is now a synonym of Jubaea chilensis (Molina) Baill., the cultivated Chilean wine palm."
