  • Etymology: "This species is named for Dr Kevin Thiele, Curator of the Western Australian Herbarium, in recognition of his significant contribution to Australian botany. One of Kevin's outstanding achievements was the creation of the Lucid software package (see http://www.lucidcentral.org/) which has been of major assistance to many biologists by enabling the production of electronic identification keys, in my case the WATTLE key (Maslin 2014) being the most important."
