Etymology:
"The apex of the outer calyx lobes is distinctly ridged and usually this ridge is accentuated by two grooves on either side due to the somewhat recurved distal margins. The epithet 'porcata" Latin "ridged", from "porca" "the ridge between two furrows made in plowing" refers to this resemblance of the distal outer calyx lobes."
