• Text: "Lythrum arnhemicum was based on two dissimilar syntypes (Victoria R., MEL 1558271 and Arnhem's Land, MEL 1558270). It was necessary to lectotypify in order to delimit usage of the name. The element chosen represents that taken up and figured by E.Koehne (Pflanzenr. 17: fig. 46c, 1903) as N.arnhemica and keyed by A.S.Mitchell (J. Adelaide Bot. Gard. 1: 58, 1976) as L. arnhemicum. The remaining element is N. muelleri Hewson."
