  • Etymology: "Named for Grady Brand (1961–), Curator of the Western Australian Botanic Garden and associated nursery, Kings Park and Botanic Garden (Erickson 2009), in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the horticulture and display of the Western Australian flora. Grady has accompanied us on expeditions exploring plant life in Western Australia, and helped this project by growing seedlings of the E. tetraptera group for comparative taxonomic study."
