• Comment: Maiden & Betche cite this name as "Helichrysum collinum... var. oxylepis Maiden & Betche in Proc. Linn. Soc. N.S.W., xxiv, 646 (1899)". While Maiden & Betche stated in an earlier reference (Proc. Linn. Soc. New South Wales 24: 646 (1900)) "we now propose to reduce H. oxylepis to a variety of H. collinum" they did not not definitely associate the species name Helichrysum collinum with the final epithet oxylepis as required to publish a combination under ICN Art. 35.2 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
