A.D.Chapman, APNI 2904 (1991) listed "Triglochin calcitrapa var. pedunculata Ostenf. nom. inval., nom. nud.". This is a phantom name. Ostenfeld merely identified some some specimens as being the variety B, pedunculata Buchenau. He was not attempting to create a new name, merely using a previously published one.
