Although the specimen C.Smith 303 at LINN was listed by Blake as the "holotype", since Smith cited both an illustration by Rumphius and a Smith specimen in the protologue this citation is here considered to constitute an effective lectotypification by Blake under ICN Art. 9.10 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
