"Belcher (1996: 121) cites the type of the name Senecio pectinatus var . major as “TYPUS: Victoria, Cobboras Mountains, [1854], F. Muell. HOLOTYPUS: MEL 666920; ISOTYPI: Cobboras Mountains, 6000 ft, F. Muell., MEL 666921 ex Herb. Sond er; K (two specimens and two labels on one sheet, ex Herb. [W.J.] Hook.).” This is here treated as effective lectotypification by Belcher in accordance with ICN Art. 7.11 (Shenzhen Code, Turland & al., 2018). As Belcher’s citation meets the relevant requirements of ICN Art. 7.11, his use of the term “holotypus” is correctable under ICN Art. 9.10."
