  • Lectotype: "Western Australia. King George’s Sound, s.dat., C.A.A. Hügel s.n. (lecto: W 0047214 [here designated])."
  • Text: "We consider that one of the two specimens cited in the protologue, from Swan River (W 0047213), represents L. gracilis. The protologue of L. huegelii describes the achenes, and only W 0047214 possesses achenes. Hence this specimen is the better choice for the lectotype, and it preserves the current usage of the name."
