APC Comment:
This is possibly of hybrid origin, with parentage C. candida ('subsp. dipsodes') x C. flavescens (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Synonymised under Eucalyptus (Corymbia) flavescens by Brooker & Kleinig Field Guide Eucalypts 3: 54 (1994). Intergrades between C. candida subsp. candida and subsp. x lautifolia are known (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Occasional hybrids are known between C. ferriticola and C. candida subsp. x lautifolia (Hill & Johnson, 1995).
