  • Type: "New South Wales: Munningyundo Pt, junction of Mann and Nymboida rivers [Nymboida National Park], alt. 600 m., 29° 39′S., 152° 29′E., shrub 4 m tall, stem 7cm in diam., bark smooth, on steep rocky granite slopes, A.G.Floyd 1644, 26.ii.1981 (NSW 234291). Isotypi: A, AD, B, BM, BRI, CANB, CBG, K, L, MEL, NY, PERTH, US.
  • Etymology: "The specific epithet refers to Cangai State Forest where this species was first collected and recognised as a new species."
