Fabaceae Lindl.
Cyclocarpa Afzel. ex Urb. , legitimate, scientific
Urban, I. in Eichler, A.W. (ed.) (1884), Kleinere Mittheilungen über Pflanzen des Berliner bot. Gartens und Museums, 4: Ueber die Leguminosen-Gattung Cyclocarpa Afz. Jahrbuch des Koniglichen Botanischen Gartens Berlin 3: 248 [tax. nov.]
  • Type: C. stellaris Urb.
  • Comment: The correct authors for Cyclocarpa should be Afzelius ex Urban and not Afzelius ex J.G.Baker as indicated in some literature. J.G.Baker (in Oliver 1871) gave only a provisional description of a plant called C. stellaris by Afzelius, he did not describe the genus.
