APC Comment:
A northern hemisphere taxon recorded as a "naturalized alien" by A.J.Ewart Vict. Naturalist 24: 191 (1908), but does not appear to have persisted as a naturalised plant in Australia.

Text:
"Although recorded as occurring in Vic. by A.J.Ewart (Vict. Naturalist 24: 191, 1908) this species does not persist in Australia. The C.Walter specimen collected in 1902 and held in MEL has limited provenance information and may well represent a cultivated plant."
