"The hitherto very obscurely known Embothrium strobilinum of M. Labillardiere, erroneously stated by that author to be a native of Western Australia (Terra de Leuwin), has been at length ascertained by Mr. Brown to belong to the above genus [i.e. Knightia R.Br.], its ovarium containing 4 ovules. The structure however of the matured seeds is not yet ascertained. In the mean time, it may be considered a Knightia..."
