  • Comment: Muir refers to F.J.H. von Mueller, Vict. Nat. 7: 47 (1890) and Bot. Centralbl. 43: 372 (1890). Mueller indicates in both places that he regards Bassia cornishiana as a variety of B. birchii but does not make the combination at varietal rank.
