taxonomic synonym: Epilobium tetragonum L. legitimate
  • Comment: Mueller lists "Epilobium tetragonum = E. glabellum, ...". Epilobium tetragonum L. was previously accepted by Mueller on p. 49 of the Systematic Census (1882) but Epilobium glabellum G.Forst. is the only species treated in Mueller's Second Systematic Census p. 84 (1889). Therefore Epilobium glabellum is here treated as being the accepted name in this Supplement with E. tetragonum in synonymy.
