"The two specimens of Marsdenia cinerascens in BM recognized as the lectotype by Forster (1992a: 34) [i.e. P.I.Forster, Aust. Syst. Bot. 5(1): 34 (1992)], are not unambiguously labelled as parts of the same gathering according to ICN, Art. 8.3. Therefore, the more floriferous specimen, [BM001040540], is selected as the lectotype of M. cinerascens here."
