  • Comment: D.Nicolle & M.E.French, Eucalypts W. Australia: S.-W. Coast & Ranges 142 (2019) list the name "Eucalyptus redunca subsp. redunca", but this autonym was not established until later in 2019 via the valid publication of two other subspecific names within E. redunca (see D.Nicolle & M.E.French, Swainsona 33(2): 9–10 (21 Nov. 2019)).

  • APC Comment: See Brooker & Hopper (1991) for a discussion of the previous widespread misapplication of the name E. redunca to many other species. Many of the 28 species recognised by them were treated under a single, broadly defined E. redunca by earlier workers, such as Mueller (1879) and Gardner (1945). These multitudinous misapplications are not formally listed here.
