• APC Comment: Treated as Xylomelum salicinum (Meisn.) Benth. by D.B.Foreman, Fl. Australia 16: 403 (1995). A.E.Orchard, J. Adelaide Bot. Gard. 21: 89 (2007) indicates the name X. salicinum (Meisn.) A.Cunn. ex Benth. is a superfluous illegitimate name referrable to X. scottianum. Orchard (loc. cit.) published the name X. benthamii Orchard for this taxon. Its type is "Rockingham Bay, Qld, 8 Feb 1874, J.Dallachy". The other syntypes of X. pyriforme [unranked] salicinum Meisn. were referred by Foreman (1995) to X. cunninghamii.
