Introduction

The name Zalipais inscripta (Tate, 1899) has often been misapplied to Cyclostrema inscriptum Tate, 1899; most records of Zalipais inscripta (Tate, 1899) are misidentifications of Zalipais laseroni Kershaw, 1955 (Seguenzioidea). Comments from W.F. Ponder place Cyclostrema inscripta Tate, 1899 in the Tornidae (see Ponder, W.F. 1980. Australian Museum Mollusca Loose Leaf System. [Vitrinerllidae 1 Cyclostrema inscripta]).
