• Syringophilopsis Kethley, J.B. 1970. A revision of the family Syringophilidae (Prostigmata : Acarina). Contributions of the American Entomological Institute 5(6): 1-76.

Introduction

The genus Syringophilopsis Kethley was known from Australia only on the basis of an undescribed species. Womersley (1941) misidentified this species as Syringophilus totani Oudemans (see Domrow, 1991). Glowska et al. (2015) provide an updated list of the Australian Syringophilidae and other Quill Mites of the world.
