Ecological Descriptors

Adult: aquatic, temporary pool.

Diagnosis

A Mesocyclops with bisinuous anterior margin along the frontal horn of receptaculum seminis; shortened internal spine on apical segment of leg 5; small, blunt protruding tubercles on intercoxal plate of leg 4; spinulate furcal rami; strongly reduced membrane on segment 17 of first antenna.
