Introduction

Laevidelos moria is a very distinctive species distinguished by the small size and almost smooth, shiny shell with a very wide umbilicus.

Litter-dwelling, under rocks, vine thicket.

 

Diagnosis

Shell small, creamy yellow, subdiscoidal, with flat to low domed spire; protoconch shiny, with weak radial growth ridges, teleoconch with weak curved radial ribs and very weak spiral striae above, weak discontinuous spiral striae below; umbilicus extremely wide, cup-shaped; diameter 5.5mm.
