Introduction

Insullaoma riddlei is distinguished by the reduced radial sculpture and the prominent spiral sculpture on the teleoconch.

Ecological Descriptors

Litter, open scrub.

 

Diagnosis

Shell very small, golden-brown, depressedly globose with a weakly elevated spire and rounded whorls; protoconch with numerous, prominent, crowded spiral cords, teleoconch with irregularly spaced, weak radial ribs, microsculpture of numerous radial threads and prominent spiral lirae; umbilicus open, very narrow, U-shaped; diameter 2mm.
