Diagnosis
Carapace broad, pentagonal approaching quadrilateral in shape; regions not well marked; generally glabrous with marginal setae. Antero- and posterolateral borders hardly distiguished; subequal in length. Distal margin of basal antennal article clearly separated from front. Male abdomen 7-segmented, not elongate, not reaching level of anterior edge of base of chelipeds; telson not elongate, not twice length of sixth segment. Male first gonopod slender, weakly sinuous, appearing almost straight; tip fluted.
