Introduction

Frequently misidentified as Upeneichthys lineatus in older literature, or treated as its junior synonym.

Extra Distribution Information

Eden, NSW (37°04'S) to Houtman Abrolhos, WA (28°35'S) and coastal Tasmania; temperate.
