[264] (Note #483: Opodiphthera intermedia Bouvier, 1928 from West Irian is a junior secondary homonym of Opodiphthera intermedia (Lucas, 1890). No replacement name [was] suggested. Note #484: Opodiphthera banksii (Lucas, 1891), nomen nudum. Lucas (1891a) attributed the nomen nudum 'Antheraca banksii' to Leach. Possibly the name came from a Leach label on a specimen. Seitz (1926, 1928) listed 'Caligula banksi' as a synonym of Opodiphthera helena (White, 1843) and attributed the name to 'Leech' [sic] ms; and this name may come from the same source. In the absence of any further information about the identity of Lucas' name it is included under O. helena (White, 1843), because of Seitz's action)
