Introduction

Note that the name Southern Fiddler Ray is the formal standard name associated with this scientific name (Trygonorrhina fasciata), but the species has been split into two species, with this species restricted to eastern Australia. The standard common names of Southern Fiddler Ray is better placed with Trygonorrhina dumerilii.
