Ecological Descriptors

Arthropod-feeder, burrower, littoral, nocturnal, omnivore, predator, terrestrial.

Extra Ecological Information

Maritime, psammophile, amongst beach debris and logs, feed on small crustacea, and eggs and larvae of flies, drowned insects, amphipods, flies, crickets, earwigs, burrow in sand, breeding in decaying seaweed.
